About Andrea Lieberstein, MPH, RD:
 
Andrea Lieberstein; nutritionist, stress management coach, trainer, inspirational speaker, registered dietitian and certified hypnotherapist has specialized in helping people transform their lives through  mindfulness training, stress management, nutrition and lifestyle change for over 20 years. Her individual coaching sessions are accessible to anyone through phone or Skype. She was instrumental in bringing the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Program to Kaiser Permanente's Northern California Region in the 1990's. She directs Mind Body Spirit programs at Kaiser Permanente San Francisco part time, and teaches mindfulness based stress reduction (MBSR), mindfulness based eating awareness training (MB-EAT) mind body medicine, meditation, weight management, movement programs and mindfulness based nature groups and women's groups. She trains health professionals and the public in Mindfulness Based Eating Awareness (MB-EAT) at Omega Institute, Kripalu Yoga and Health Center, Esalen Institute, and other learning institution.
 
Her clients have included individuals, corporations, medical centers, universities, schools and colleges. She is trained in Jon Kabat-Zinn's nationally acclaimed Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Program, Harvard Medical School sponsored Mind Body Medicine Symptom Reduction Program (developed by Joan Boryensenko and Herbert Benson), The MB-EAT Program - Mindfulness Based Eating Awareness Training developed by Jean Kristeller,  Integral Coaching Methods through New Ventures West, Circlework Training developed by Jalaja Bohnheim, and Continuum Movement developed by Emilie Conrad Daoud and is a certified hypotherapist. Her formal education includes a Bachelor's Degree from Stanford University in Human Biology with an emphasis on preventive medicine and a Master's Degree in Public Health Nutrition from University of California, Berkeley.
